LALALALALA~
Ok I don't know what I'm feeling now.

Been taking quite a number of cabs recently.
Put aside the money spent. Just wana share the different kinds of uncles I met. Quite erm. Funny?

1 Most of the times I took from Raffles Place to Punggol. YA VERY FAR. YES VERY EXPENSIVE. Cos I lazy to get out of the house to the gym and this were the consequences. Anyway, this uncle. The usual route is by CTE, TPE. And entrance to CTE is from chinatown, which is the nearest. HE drove the other way, I was puzzled. But I thought maybe there was another route, this road idiot do not know. So happily we drove. And the surroundings got 'strange-er' and 'strange-er'. Then, I saw dhoby ghaut. And pass through the ERP! Peep! Wah lao!
Me: Uncle, where are we? I thought CTE from the chinatown there?
Uncle: Er. Em. Eh. From here also can. I cut through CTE from here, only need to go through 1 tunnel. From chinatown need to go through 3 tunnels.
Me: OK.
Actually wanted to take down plate number and complain. Uncle thought I 'small girl' don't know route sia, go 1 big round 'eat' my money. But. Forgot la! And wanted to refuse to pay the ERP charges, since this was not the 'by default' route and I guess he can't do anything if I don't want pay. But. Late la, no time to argue with him.
Ok case closed.

2 Hmm this uncle. Extremely, overwhelming polite!! He'll say thank you for every sentence he got you to say!
Me: Uncle, punggol. From chinatown CTE. (lesson learnt from previous experience. Must say exact route!)
Uncle: Ok. Xie xie. Aircon can? (wow!)
Driving on..............
Uncle: 1st exit or 2nd exit?
Me: 2nd exit. Ok Xie xie, dui bu qi ar.
Reaching....
Me: Uncle, in front turn right.
Uncle: Ok, xie xie.
Me: Uncle, turn right again.
Uncle: Ok, xie xie. Dui bu qi ar.
See! He apologise even when I told him the directions. I guess he felt bad, but he don't know the place mah. Make mi quite paiseh ler, feel like saying 'oh bu yong jing, bu yong jing'. But if I said this everytime he said like very funny.
Very nice experience to travel with this kinda uncle. Don't you think so? If only we met such uncles in a quarter of our cab experiences.

3 Ok. I'm going home in a cab.
Scene: From entrance to carpark to abt 300m shelter up ahead.
Maybe my destination was near (ie.fares quite cheap), for the 300m the uncle drove so SLOWLY I think bicycle should be able to win the race la. And the metre jumped another 10cents. WTH!
Not that 10cents is alot of money la. But taking in account how much I have spent on cabs already, I think 10cents must save also right. And in this case the 10cents is not necessary at all!

(Wah the first time I spent so long in an entry ler. And not my style to type 'essay'. Maybe just wana share the experiences. And don't feel like (or can't) sleep yet ler.)
Boo.

  • WORDS TO PONDER - LOVE

"You don't love a woman because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her."
"Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, its what you are expecting to give - which is everything."
"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you. Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you."
"It was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
"The only abnormality is the incapacity to love."
"A very small degree of hope is sufficient to cause the birth of love."
"The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find it them."
